Dr. Shantanu Deshpande is an alumnus of Grant medical college, J.J.Hospital, Mumbai. He completed his MBBS in 1998. Subsequently he did a one year peripheral service as a Medical Officer at primary health Centre in Savlaj, Sangli. Here he developed one novel concept of the nutrition garden for school children. This activity fetched him much appreciation at the district level.
He did MS (Trauma and Orthopaedics) from prestigious Seth G. S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai which is one of the best institutes in India. After completion of training in 2002 he did further speciality training in Paediatric Orthopaedics at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital, Mumbai and received Knee Arthroscopy training in Bhabha Hospital, Bandra.
